After graduating from Northern I moved to Utica, MI where I taught at the Elementary level for 32 years. My husband Gary and I have two grown children. Brad is Director of Inernational Growth for Ratheon. They now live in Tucson, AZ. He and his wife, Michele, have given us two beautiful grandchildren. Sophia is 13 and Colin is 10. Our daughter Allison is a temporarily retired CPA. She and her husband Matt are busy with their 6 year old twins, Andrew and Isabel. They are living in Corte Madera, outside San Francisco, CA. The grandchildren bring us much joy, amusement and pleasure! Retirement... isn't it grand!! I keep busy with lots of reading, gardening, sewing and decorating. We spend many weekends at our family cottage on Lake Huron. Travel is my passion and I am blessed to have several 'Gutsy Women' friends who also love history, art and other cultures. We have traveled to Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, China, Kenya, Egypt and most European countries. Last summer we spent 2 weeks in Peru and climbed Machu Picchu. We are looking forward to soon retiring in Tucson, Arizona and enjoying year round sun shine!!
