After marrying Lucky Nadeau and graduating from NMU with degrees in Business and Education, I've held a variety of office jobs while moving to 5 different states all over the Midwest region between 1971-1980 during his railroad career. From 1980-1990 I worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Regional Manager for Public Storage Inc. in Arlington, Texas. I met Jim in Texas in 1988.
When I married Jim (an Avionics Engineer for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing) in 1989, my life took on another series of whirlwind adventures. This time moving to Asia for a total of 10 years interspersed with 4-6 month job assignments including Yuma, AZ, Seoul,Korea, Rome, Italy, Bangkok, Indonesia, San Francisco, CA, Dallas, TX, Charlotte, SC, then ending up in Taipei, Taiwan for 2 years and lastly again in Seoul, Korea for 6 years. These last two longer stays totaling 8 years enabled me to teach in their international schools and tutored English on the side.
After Jim retired in 2001, we decided to move to Sun Lakes, AZ, a very active retirement community just south of Phoenix. During 3 of those years, I taught English at the Ira Hayes High School on the Indian Reservation. Shortly after retiring, I started playing a lot of tennis and have been the membership chairman for our 300+ tennis club for the past 3 years. In addition to playing tennis, I golf, bowl, play Mah Jong, Booray and other card games. I also enjoy walking my dog and meeting other dog lovers, working out, swim, ski, and when time allows, I like to sew, knit & crochet. Pickleball is all the rage right now so that's my next sport to master.
I have one son and 2 granddaughters living in California, and 2 stepsons and 4 step grandchildren living in Tennessee whom I see as often as I can.
I have met a lot of famous people along the way, but the most unforgettable was shaking hands with Pope John Paul II in Rome, Italy in 1992 during a dedication of the new MD11 at that time. Our picture was highlighed in their Italian L'Osservatore Romano newspaper there.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
