Professor of Entomology and Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor, Emeritus, at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA
Ph.D. Harvard University, 1969; B.S. (1963)and M.S. (1965) from Michigan State University.
I continue to teach a study abroad program in Australia and to help curate the University Museum insect collection with main focus on wasps. Gardening, beekeeping, and home remodeling are my major activities, in addition to being grandparents to 7 and parents to 6, all of whom live in the south.
