Today's Featured Biography
Kelly Newell Crowe
I can't believe I will be 40 in April - I still feel like I'm 20! I've already got one child out of the house AND I'm starting all over again 20 years later with my second. I don't know where I get the energy!
My wonderful husband and I met 16 years ago (through work) and have been happily married for the past 14. Steve is very quick witted and always makes me laugh even after all these years! He is a Civil Engineer and just recently started his own engineering firm this Fall. I worked many years as an Office Manager at a civil engineering/environmental firm and finished up the last 6 years as a Claims Consultant handling construction insurance claims until I quit work 2 years ago to be a full-time mom.
We live in Bel Air and bought our first home there 11 yrs. ago. With both of us working, raising Jordan and traveling, we didn't think too much about having children. Then Matthew was born a few days after Christmas in 2005. He's a very easy child, happy all the time and a real ham (just like his mother). He is now 4 yrs. old and ALL BOY! My days now center around a gazillion dinosaurs, libraries, playgrounds and day trips! He keeps me hopping!
Of course, most of you remember that when we graduated, I had a 2 yr. old son (Jordan) who is now 23 yrs. old! Jordan will always be my baby. After graduation, he went right into the Navy and became a medic and then served with the Marines in Iraq for 7 months. Since his return from Iraq, he went to Cecil University for one year but has been flip-flopping between a career in medicine or law enforcement. He was recently accepted by the State Police, however they aren't running another academy until maybe Fall, so he's thinking about taking more classes at Cecil. His real interest lies in medicine. My hope is for him to settle down soon - he is so much like me - always on the move! Although, once he figures out his path, I have no doubt he will excel.
We have also traveled some: FL/CA (Disney World/Sea World a few times); Key West; Williamsburg; Hilton Head, SC; NC; TX; GA; Mexico; Jamaica; Grand Caymans. I love to travel and hope to visit Germany or Italy someday. We plan on revisiting Disney World this April (Matt's first time). Our husky, Lexie, died this spring (slipped disc and lung cancer) but we still have Abby (Standard Dachshund) who is my other baby. My life currently centers around my boys, house cleaning, gardening, tending to my community and cichlid tanks and just taking care of my family and making them happy.
Well, it was so nice to read everyone's Bios and to hear that you are all doing well. Of course, I didn't make it to the reunion but did see all the pictures. Everyone pretty much looks the same which is a good thing!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
