Karen Hostetler
Hi everyone! It's great to see some familiar faces and read what everyone has been up to!
The years after graduation seem to have flown by. After Rising Sun, I went to Liberty Univ. in VA for a yr and then graduated with a Business degree from Cecil Community College. From there I finished up at Millersville University in PA with a BS in Busines Administration/Marketing (1989) Since graduating from Millersville, I've lived in Delaware, Georgia, Baltimore, MD, and now I'm currently living in Medford NJ. I live about 1 hr. from Ocean City, NJ and have taken advantage of being so close to the beach.
In the 24 yrs. since H.S, God has given me some incredible experiences - backpacking through Europe for 2 weeks and visiting 5 countries, going to Guatemala and Mexico on mission trips, spending time and vacationing with my two beautiful nieces (11, 14) and cute nephew (7) owning two business.
For the past two years, I have worked as a Support Coordinator helping individuals with developmental disabilities move into the community from institutions. It's been very rewarding to see folks that have been in these centers for many years have a place they can call their own home and lead successful lives. Though my life has certainly had its share of difficulties (losing my dad 4 1/2 hrs ago), God has richly blessed it! My life has true meaning and purpose because of a relationship with Him!
Looking foward to seeing ya'll in 2010!
