Caleb Crump
Caleb Crump dares to be more than merely different. This native of Baltimore, Maryland has a knack for hosting television. When a producer or director speaks of an actor or other talent having "IT" in regards to on camera presence, grabbing and holding viewers attention, and keeping viewers mesmerized until the program is over, Caleb Crump puts the I and the T in having that special thing called "IT".
Caleb began steadfastly grooming his talent in 1996 while hosting a video, music, and party show on Public Access television in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Having sang in front of crowds of over 30,000 people, acted and danced in school, church plays, various shows, etc., Caleb was a natural at migrating into the television spotlight. Consequently, the television show he hosted began to really take off by 1997 when the program switched over to a commercial format and episodes began to broadcast on the NBC affiliate in New Mexico. Currently in 2004 Caleb is running the Caleb Crump Show's commercial version on UPN 50 in Albuquerque, New Mexico Saturday Nights at Midnight and the non-commercial version on Channel 27 Comcast Cable, Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
By 1998, however, Caleb began to spread his talent to the east coast by acting in many commercials for local businesses that were broadcasting on network television and on cable in Baltimore while, simultaneously, hosting his own variety television program entitled The Caleb Crump Show, that was now broadcasting in New Mexico, Washington, DC, and in Baltimore, Maryland.
This highly energetic ambitious individual has always been a high achiever, demonstrated through finishing his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems in just 3 1/2 years straight out of high school, and completing his Master's in Business Administration in only 11 months, by the young age of 23.
In addition to his long list of achievements, Caleb Crump has continued to build on his hosting talent by stepping into the challenging yet exciting realm of interviewing celebrity guest. Caleb has successfully interviewed celebrities such as Ginuwine, Cyndi Lauper, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Snoop Dogg, James Brown (The Godfather of Soul), Chubby Checker, R&B recording groups Silk, Jagged Edge, MC Lyte, Fat Joe, JS, Montell Jordan, Rob Base, Marquess Houston, Baby Beesh, Little Rob Famed Attorney Johnnie Cochran, Essence Magazine President Ed Lewis, Martin Luther King III, Ronald McDonald (From the local McDonald's Restaurants), Comedians Paul Rodriguez (Latin Kings Of Comedy), Joey Medina, Michael Colyar, and a host of others.
Caleb Crump has also proven to be a Guerrilla Marketing Commercial Professional "Fire-Ball" Specialist for many local and nationally recognized businesses and corporations. Having either promoted directly through conducting interviews for, doing advertising commercial campaigns for, or hosting promotional events for the following businesses, Caleb Crump has been a major mover, shaker, and deal maker, for promoting brands such as Pepsi, McDonald's Restaurants, Sprite Remix, Smirnoff Ice, Cell Phone Companies, Limousine Services, Local Banks, Nightclubs, Tattoo Parlors, Beauty Salons, Barbershops, and Many Small and Large Entrepreneurial Businesses.
With his unique humorous personality, multi-talented host Caleb Crump has not had a problem crossing demographic borders either. This quick-witted, hazel-eyed, dimple-faced, charming stallion has such a "Universal Appeal" and command of English diction that captures your attention whether your between the ages of 13 to 49, or whether your Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Jewish, Middle Eastern or from another "Planet".
