I remember Sharon as a wonderful place to grow up. After one year at Emerson College I left the US in September, 1970. I spent a few years in Asia working in Japan and spending some time as an activist against the war in Viet Nam. A highlight was spending nearly a year in Bali before Kuta Beach had electricity. While in Bali I met a diver who worked in the North Sea. We bought sailboat in England and spent 7 years sailing around the Med, Caribbean and Pacific Islands to Papua New Guinea. In 1980 I immigrated to NZ and bought a small sailboat of my own. I restored the boat and subsequently sailed it to Australia on my honeymoon with a husband who had never been to sea before. He hated it. We spent 13 years farming sheep, cattle and horses and have a lovely daughter Haley. Currently I have a home in Mt. Maunganui in NZ a 5 min. walk to a great surf beach. Prior to leaving NZ in 05 I had been a probation officer for 5 years working for the court. Since coming to the US I have morphed into human resources and expect to have a masters completed by Dec. 2008. Cheers
