Today's Featured Biography
Tony Johnson
Post SHS, marriage, children and Northeastern University the hard way, came a career in international ship transport and logistics that provided many twists and turns. Sales and management positions eventually lead to promotions and a corporate transfer to Antwerp, Belgium for the family and me. With sales and Line operations management responsibility for most of northern Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom, the family and I got see and experience new parts of our world and lots of history.
Transferred back to Montreal, I lived in Canada before embarking on several industry career positions throughout the eastern US, (New York, New Jersey, Boston, Miami, New Jersey, Jacksonville) and then back to Europe living in Aix en Provence France, working out of Marseilles with responsibility for France, Switzerland Italy and Spain.
13 years ago a final corporate career transfer to Atlanta, GA resulted in Kennesaw, GA becoming home. After a few years I left the industry and started my own business. With this change, all the rumors I had started, that all of my transfers were in fact part of the, “federal witness protection program,” ended.
I married for the 2nd time 24 years ago to my French Canadian jewel, Lyse, (pronounced like fleas, without the “F”). Combined we have 7 children and 17 grandchildren, many bi-lingual, who just don’t understand why I still speak little to no French.
Most likely, I will not make it to this reunion but hope to see you all at the 75th. :>) My very best regards. Have fun!
