Today's Featured Biography
Roy Taylor
Ol' Roy's not missing anymore! I've been married to Cindy for 28 (legal) years and we're living on the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We have no children. It is hard to beleive it has been 35 years since graduation, and a lot has happened all along the way. There's not a day gone by that I haven't thought of you all, and I'm sure you've all made a difference in the world in who you are and what you've done. I did two separate tours in the US Army with the 2nd/75th Ranger Regiment, specialized in long-range reconnaisance, and later volunteered for the Delta Detachment as an operator. I spent eight years coming and going, and took two years off in between to breathe and catch up with myself. Ended up in flight school at Ft. Rucker, Alabama and took to flying Hueys for Uncle Sam. I got married and she said "No more of that", so I resigned to work in the real world. I went to UNC-Chapel Hill and studied regional and urban planning, and have done city, county, and regional planning ever since, except for a stint when I was a city administrator. That's it in a nutshell and kind of condensed. I'm still in transition so I'll provide my office address if anyone would care to write. I still have to sell my home in North Carolina, so I don't have a permanent place yet in Myrtle Beach. Roy D. Taylor, AICP, 1301 Second Avenue, Suite 1D42, Conway, SC 29526.
