All the slide shows are gone now, since the software used to create them has apparently gone kaput. I have tried to get some response from the website that was used to create the shows, but

Today's Featured Biography
James Ryan
Two weeks after graduating from CCHS I joined the Navy to see the World. I was a Navy Seabee for three and a half years and I did get to see a lot of the World.
After my tour was up I went to work for IHC in various positions for the next 15 years. Along the way I took a leave of absence for three years and using the GI Bill attended Purdue Univ. and obtained a degree in Mech. Engineering in 1975.
At this time in my life I was tiring of cold weather. Remember the snows of '77 and '78? In Jan of 1979 I tied a snow shovel on the front of my car and drove south. When I arrived in Atlanta, someone asked, whats that? I knew I had arrived!
Sperry-Univac (Unisys) hired me to sell computers in the Atlanta area and I did for several years. Took the time to enroll in the Executive MBA program at Georgia State Univ. in 1981 and graduated in '83.
Met my wife, JoAnn on a blind date and married six months later. That was 43 years ago. We started our own business in '86 and we are now retired.
We have no children but 28 years ago we adopted three chinese girls, natural sisters, and today we have eight beautiful grand kids to dote over.
We love to travel and we have completed our fourth full World cruise on the Cunard ships, Queen Elizabeth2 (twice), Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. JoAnn and I now are targeting specific areas of the World that we want to visit, like Iceland, Greenland the Artic circle and just recently we got back from a five day trip to Antartica.
We can now say that we have visited all the seven continents, all the five Oceans and 140 countries and territories of the World. During the Covid pandemic we took a roadtrip throughout the USA to visit the states we needed to get all 50 states under our belts.
Thats where we will be during our 61th reunion...another roadtrip. Sorry we won't make it but we want to say hey to everyone there!
Well that's it and remember,“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away!”

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
