Today's Featured Biography
Andrea Miller
After graduating I attended Purdue University and graduated in Retail Management Dec. of '84. I moved to Dayton, then Lima, Ohio for the next 4 years working as a supervisor at Elder Beerman. I returned to Indy in fall of '88 to work at Indiana National Bank (now called Regions), and was there 11 years as an assistant manager. I met my husband at church shortly after moving back to Indy, and we were married Dec. of '89. We lived in Irvington area 4 years, then bought the house we are now live in in the McCordsville area. My husband was with Naval Avionics (now Raytheon) 16 years, then went to Eli Lilly in 2002 working in software. I quit work after our 3rd merger in '99. I took 1 year off then worked 1 year at Bethany Christian Services Adoption agency. I quit work there after the birth on Christmas Day 2001 of our very long awaited son, Daniel. He is the pride of our lives! We decided to homeschool, and are enjoying every minute of our time with him. He is active in two co-ops, AWANA's, and with church friends. I now do some part-time bookkeeping, as well as have my own businees in Mary Kay Cosmetics. We have 2 dogs (mutt & German Shepherd), fish, and 2 gerbils at the moment. We love to spend time outdoors hiking, and learning about history, and have fun participating in Renaissance Faires. We stay very active at our church Horizon Christian Fellowship. Inspite of the challenges of having recently being diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia, our lives have been truly blessed.
