Mr. Abbott was recently recognized by Y2Marketing as a “Level III Accredited Agent,” one of only three such agents in the country.
MYM Austin specializes in developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing systems for the Swimming Pool Construction industry. The MYM system is designed to help businesses separate themselves from their competition, and make them the obvious choice for prospects to do business with. Mr. Abbott has worked with dozens of small and medium-sized businesses in both the B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer) arenas, but his current area of focus is exclusively with Swimming Pool Builders.
Before opening MYM Austin in 2002, Mr. Abbott spent 20 years in sales and marketing management in the high tech industry. Trained in a myriad of sales and marketing programs, Mr. Abbott was responsible for rolling out new product lines, creating and delivering strategic sales and marketing programs, and managing multi-national accounts in the US, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Abbott is a frequent keynote speaker and seminar leader, teaching pool builders and other business owners how to improve the power of their marketing and systematically grow their business.
Mr. Abbott lives on the shores of Lake Travis in Austin Texas with his wife Naomi and their five children. When he isn’t busy helping other people grow their business, he enjoys water-sports, landscaping, and singing barbershop.
