Karen O'Dea Wilkerson

Graduated from Illinois State University in 1980 (BS, Special Education), got married 6 days later to Bryan Wilkerson, former Campus Life leader at WWHS! 30 years this May!

Lived in Colorado for 3 years while Bryan went to Seminary- loved the Rockies and had Kelly there. Moved to Manhasset, NY outside of NYC where Bryan pastored a church for 16 years- our 3 boys were born there and are rabid Yankee fans! 7 years ago we moved to Boston to pastor Grace Chapel (www.grace.org)

I got my MS in Ed. in 1990, and went back to teaching 5 years ago as a preschool special ed. teacher, which I love. I also do a lot of speaking and teaching on marriage and parenting.

My daughter Kelly is a social worker in West Palm Beach, FL (yes, there are homeless people there :-)She got married November 2009. Brendan is in grad school at Northwestern and i planning to be married June 2010. Mark is at Wheaton College (Junior- Youth Ministry) Daniel is an 11th grader.

My parents still live in the same house I was raised in, my sister Eileen lives in Wheaton too. I love going back to visit!

I am grateful to God for the life and family He has given me! :-)
