55th Class Reunion...Update |
|
|
Hello again Classmates and Friends.
Although there were a few inquiries/suggestions for a 55th Class Reunion, unfortunately no one was available to take on the Chairperson responsibilities. Enthusiasm is there…just no additional time to organize a fun weekend for everyone.
So it appears we will close this “chapter” in our lives with memories that are appreciated, and treasured.
And we will say, once again…how could this time in our lives come so quickly?! It seems like yesterday we were walking the halls of St. Charles High School laughing, meeting with friends, and looking forward to tackling the world ahead.

A sincere "thank you" to Louis Ramirez, Merry (Stanford) Pollock, Tom Fujiwara, Nancy (Macho) Henricksen, and Paul and Bonnie (Horton) Turk for contributing to the photographs for the reunion weekend slideshow.
During the weekend many expressed how much they enjoyed the website, and what a wonderful way to keep in contact with classmates. With that said, they also wished those who have not registered would do so, for they would enjoy contacting others who were not able to attend. The Committee would like to encourage everyone to utilize the website to the fullest. It is a great way to reconnect, and keep in touch with those who shared a very important time in our lives.
Thanks again to everyone who joined in the reunion celebration! What a fun and special class we are!

Today's Featured Biography
Bonnie Horton Turk
Since the last reunion:
Paul closed his business in 2010 and since then I have been busy answering 3 questions..."what's for lunch?" "what did you say?" and "where are you ?" Actually we are both busy doing volunteer work for our church and Paul loves to fish.
I enjoy gardening, reading, walking and antiques. Of course we love seeing our 3 grandchildren. Hope to travel more .
I enjoyed getting to be better friends with Lesley while planning the last reunion and this time both of us got to be better friends with Pam Ward . We've spent alot of time on this and have laughed alot and had a bit of angst at times.
I do cherish my friends from Wasco grade school, the "new" friends I met at jr. high and high school. I know I will enjoy seeing everyone at this reunion and I hope everyone has a good time.
