Sharon Ray Whitworth

After graduation I married in the summer of 79. Stayed married for 28 years. We had two children. A daughter Angie Lynn now 28. A son Timothy Gene 23. Life was not easy for a mental illness does take a toll on a family. My now ex-husband has a form of scitzophrenia. We found out this cruel sickness don't get better for long. It does have good months and years then it get so bad that the only place that can help is a long hospital stay. So as anyone can tell my life has not been the easiest to deal with. But we had some really good times when he was well. He spent alot of time with our kids when he was rock solid. I can't blame him for what he has. My children have learned that their dad does not get sick on purpose. It is something that he can't control all the time even with all the new meds they have for this crazy thing. Now that they are both adults. They ask me questions like how did you do it mom. You worked, took care of us and dad. And you always had a smile on your face and did not lose it one time. I told them a lot of praying. I now am divorced since Feb. 13th of this year. I am a much happier person now. I still make sure things go smooth for the ex. We are still friends. After all these years we have an understaning of each other that most people will never understand. It's called real friendship. My kids are cool with this.
I have 3 beautiful grandkids. Chloe Dowm 9, Gailynn Cheyenne 7, and John Paul Atticus 18 months. (I call him scooter) They are a big part of my life. I am called Nana by all of them. As you can tell they are my heart...Being a grandparent is the coolest thing ever.
I have worked for the same company for the last 11 years. I enjoy my job most days. Some days I would like to run out the front door screaming. But for the record I stay and deal.
My little brother Robert Ray some of you know him as Bob. He lives in Memphis TN. Has lived there since he was about 22 years old. He works in wood working and remodeling homes. Robert has an eye for that kind of thing. He is a perfectionist. I guess that helps when you can make good money at this. He has never married. Don't think he ever will. Has not found that special one that rocks his world yet.
The band members that use to hang out at my house with me, Robert, and bunch of thesbiens from choir. You know who you are. My mom and dad are still around. They use to make it possible for us to get together on those bad snows we use to get. Dad would go aroung with his pickup and pick everyone up that could not get there because of the snow. Then we would have one big slumber party. (no hanky panky) My dad had a big gun. Plus he said if anyone even thought about doing something they shouldn't he would throw them out into a snow bank. I do think he would have. Those were the fun times. Does anyone remember Jump Shout Boogie.....????
I guess I will close for now. I may add more secrets later on so read me every once in a while.
