Today's Featured Biography
Danel Hudon
I have been in Criminal Justice since I was 19. I started in private security, found I had a good mind set for the work. I studied Professional Security Enforcement thru ICS. Created Training programs for a couple of Security Enforcement Companies as well as a few bars here in Boise. I also trained security and Personnel Protection Teams for the Gay Rights Association and Your Friends Family and Neighbors Association.
I then went to work in Northern Idaho with Idaho Department of Corrections in 1996. I came back to Boise in 1997 and was slated to Join the Army, they had offered a chance to continue my education and begin a career in Criminal Investigation. But unfortunately I was hit by a drunk driver the Friday night before the Monday I was supposed to sign my papers. With the injuries I received the Military was no longer an option. I continued in Private Security. In 1999 I was offered a position with Treasure Valley Security to actually build a Training and Promotion Program from the ground up, I jumped at it. By 2000 TVS had grown to 3 full time patrols and most of my Officers were Corrections Officers or Sherrifs Deputies. We even had several contracts with Boise City. We then Incorporated – Crime Prevention Inc. - and opened offices in Tacoma Washington and Spokane Washington. Due to contract disputes with the CEO of CPI, and the tole that a 60 + hour work week was taking on my health. I followed a friends advice in 2001 and left CPI and went to work for Corrections Corporation of America. I have been there ever since. I have promoted twice and am now a Case Manager working with Addictions Treatment and Cognitive Training.
I met my wife in July of 2001. We were married 8/15/03, and we had our son in 2006. I never thought I wanted a wife or a child when I was younger but I wouldn't trade them for the world now.
I can't say that my life turned out the way I envisioned it in High School, I always thought I would be an Architect, single riding to Sturgis every year. I've never been to Sturgis, but I still ride. I'm not an architect, but I have a career I'm quite good at. I sure aint single, but I have a happy family. I'm older, fatter, and much wiser. I still battle with the aches and pains of a decade of take downs, uses of force, severe stress, poor diet and eating habits, but I get woken up to a cute little face saying “Daddy, let's wrestle” and it all melts away.
So 20 years later I'm calmer, smarter, wiser, and know and feel loved. I have found my Faith and Grace. I am not so arrogant to say life is perfect but it's a new adventure every day.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
