Today's Featured Biography
Connie Roth Nichols
I left KHS in 1964, moved to Florida where I graduated from the local high school, and then attended Atlanta Christian College for 2 years. Moved back to Hawaii while I waited for my fiance while he spent a year in Viet Nam. Reuben is from Hauula and Waianae, later from Washington state. We married at the end of 1970 and Uncle Sam stationed us in California for 3 months before sending us back to Hawaii! Lived there 4 years, had our son Ray at Kahuku Hospital. Soon thereafter we moved to Joplin Missouri for several years, and then moved to my dad's home town, Eustis FL. In many ways is was my other home: I had gone to 1st and 2nd grade, 8th, and 11th and 12th here. Small town: My son attended the same school that I attended and my dad attended!
The years have rolled past, faster now (have you noticed that too?) and we stay so busy. We both work for the county's school system. I am in charge of records for special education students. My husband is a diesel mechanic, works on the school buses, and is now assigned to their air conditioning. This is Florida, remember! We are always busy in the work of our church, I play piano and organ, Reuben teaches 1st and 2nd graders, and we both sing in small ensembles.
My parents have quit trying to live in Hawaii and Florida, are here full time, but my brother and Reuben's brother live in Hawaii, so we do get over there once in a while.
Son Ray and wife Susie live nearby, no grandchildren yet....
Thanks, Sandi, for making the effort to contact me!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
