Today's Featured Biography
Glenda Minter Salmon
After graduation, my Dad was transferred to Brunswick where I attended Brunswick College for a year before marrying. Many years and two sons later I was divorced. I went back to school getting an AA degree from Reinhardt College, a Bachelor's in Sociology and a Master's in Clinical Sociology from Texas Southern University. As my sons grew older, they returned to Brunswick to be near their dad and his family. They live there still and each have two children. I began teaching in colleges and universities as a sociology adjunct as well as working as a family therapist. At age 47, I went to the University of North Texas attempting to get a PhD in Sociology, but was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in the last semester of my course work and had to take a medical leave. Thank heavens! I've never gone back! I went back to work as a therapist and teaching as an adjunct in community colleges. In 2003, I moved back to Georgia. I continued teaching, now in three colleges in Rome and worked with the court system with child custody cases. I was in Court one day hotly attempting to convince a judge that his initial Order was not in the best interest of a little boy and was almost thrown in jail for contempt. That judge was a widower, however, and we are now married. We are both retired now, but my husband works in various counties as a senior judge "substituting" in special cases or helping catch up busy calendars. I dig in the yard and paint anything that doesn't have a heartbeat. I am very blessed and happy. I went to 13 schools in 12 years, but Ware County High was the best of all. I have no idea that any of you even remember me and why would you?. Yet, all of you were great to me. "For I was a stranger, and you took me in..." I will always be grateful.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
