Today's Featured Biography
Hope McCallum Leatherwood
It has been a long time since HIGH SCHOOL!! Well, I am married to a wonderful man named Cliff Leatherwood and we have 2 beautiful little boys, Bryce, 8 and Lance, 6. We have been married for over 10 years and we live in Bradshaw Farm in Cherokee County.
I work in the building materials industry and that is not such a great thing at this time. But I am very thankful for the opportunity that I have been given at this stage of the game.
I have been friends with 4 women since middle school and they have all been such a blessing. We met at Mabry and then became even closer in high school and then we went to college at Georgia Southern and formed bonds that would never be broken.
Karen Petty, Kelly Mason, Stacey Lynn and Julie Strudthoff. We have all gone our own ways during these past 20+ years but since July of 2002 we were all brought back together due to an illness with one of our own. Julie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and that has changed all of us forever. At least me. Karen, Stacey, Jules and I have been walking in the 2 Day Walk in Atlanta for the last 2 years and we are all signed up for next year! Julie was diagnosed with secondary bone cancer in 2006 and this is not a good thing! There is no cure. She lives each day to its fullest and is such an inspiration to me and to so many others. She has been my bestfriend for many many years and I cherish each and every moment I have with her.
Please live life to its fullest and as Jules always says, "Make Memories"!!!
