Beverly Head Pironti

Hello class of 80. My husband Rod (78 graduate) and I live in Keller, Texas. We moved here 15 years ago. Keller is about 12 miles Northeast of Ft Worth. We have two grown children, Jennifer who is 25 and Josh who is almost 23. We also have a grandchild, Connor who is 4 (our daughter's son). In April we will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary and we're actually still in love! Amazing. I cannot believe we are this old!
We travel to GA a few times a year to visit our parents. My parents live in Dacula. Rod's mom still lives in Lilburn. His dad has passed away.
Rod works as a regional consultant for an ink manufacturer based out of Charlotte.
I am a Realtor and, thank the Lord, Texas has done very well during these economic times and my business has continued to be successful. I've worked in Real Estate for the last 11 years. I also dabble in interior design and property staging. About 10 years ago, I wrote a book and was lucky enough to see it published. It's called Kiss Me, Kat and it's a Texas based romantic comedy and murder mystery. I know, crazy right? It actually did very well in sales and got great reviews. My editor wanted me to write more but my Real Estate career had taken off by then and I really didn't have enough time to pursue both careers so I had to choose. I sold the movie rights and things were progessing--they were planning to develop it for Hallmark or Lifetime but then 9/11 happened and the publishing and movie industry cut way back on their budgets and my story got the boot. Oh well! There's always tomorrow. I think you can still order the book on Amazon if you'd like to read it.
Chances of me making it to GA for the reunion are slim. It's a busy time of year for me with work. I'm sorry I'll miss it. I hope everyone has a great time. Be blessed!
