Today's Featured Biography
Jeannetta McMillon Evans
During my senior year at Anacostia, I worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a Stay-In-School participant and upon graduation, I attended the Washington School for Secretaries in Downtown DC while continuing my career as a full-time Federal employee. I later advanced my career in various positions through the Upward Mobility Program and various college level courses while working at the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development and on June 3, 2011, I retired after 38 1/2 years of service as the Director, Management Staff, Office of the Chief Financial Officer. My testimony is and will always be "God saw something in me that I didn't even see in myself" because all I ever aspired to be was an Executive Secretary. From my marriage, I was blessed with two lovely children, Aqeel Ali and Ebony and I am now a proud Grandma of four Grandchildren. After the passing of my Father and Mother in 2000 and 2004, I ventured out to fulfill one of my life long dreams by taking motorcycle lessons and today, I own and ride a 2006 Harley Davidson Softtail Deluxe. I currently worship at Zion Church, Landover, Maryland, and I love serving the Lord and can truly say, I am blessed. I often reflect of times passed and look forward to each and every day that I'm blessed to see. Some of you may remember, I had my first back surgery at the age of 14 (8th grade/Sousa Junior High School) and have had several others throughout my life. As this has limited some of my physical activity on most days but has not hindered my ability to Serve the God I love. I am ever so grateful for where God has me today and I owe it all to Him because He surely has kept His Hands on Me. Luv u more Jeannetta

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
