Now that we are past our 60th Reunion, we are trading large infrequent events for smaller events on a regular schedule. If you live outside the Denver area, we hope you'll be able to drop in when you visit.
Please join us for lunch on the third Wednesday of each quarter. You are welcome to invite East High contemporaries from the Classes of 1964-1968.

About 100 of us gathered July 24th & 25th to celebrate six decades (!!!) since our graduation from East High, which is itself celebrating both 150 years from its founding as the High School division of the Arapaho School (the first public school in Colorado) and 100 years in our campus on the Esplanade.

Our reunion planning committee is taking a well-deserved breather, but we hope to offer quarterly (and predictable for those who might drop in from afar) gatherings to keep us better in touch. Stay tuned!

Today's Featured Biography
Kay Eldredge Salter
Always writing -- short stories, novels, non-fiction books, articles, plays. Still at it. My late husband was also a writer and did all the same things, but with an emphasis on fiction.
We moved -- with our work -- between Colorado and New York. Jim's and my son, Theo Salter, is now 36 ad married and living in LA. I'm close to my step-twins, a boy living in Montana and a girl living in Colorado. They were 59 on their last birthdays, and both have teen-age children.
My father, now 97, and my brother and sister and their families live on the Eastern Slope, and I still vote in Colorado. I'm sporting a pandemic haircut, all white now -- short and easy to take care of. And it hides my latest acquisition -- a cochlear implant that pairs with my new hearing aid and lets me know what's going on for the first time since I was in grade school.
I like to walk and to travel and don't feel as old as my age. And I'm still so glad to have gone to East High and graduated from there in 1966!
