Today's Featured Biography
Steven Chapman
Besides celebrating 50 years since graduation, in 2020 I'll have been married 49 years to my high school sweetheart, Rena Cook. We've got 3 children that have blessed us with 5 beautiful grandchildren.
I've been chairman of the past two Class of '70 reunion committees, including our 40th at Arrowhead Country Club and 45th on the National Orange Show grounds with a salute to K/men radio AM 1290. Through my promotions company, Asangee Thing Productions, I've organized several live music-themed events that reunited our fellow Spartans and featured many of our talented classmate musicians.
I retired in 2008 after a 35- year career in local government finance. I spend my retirement enjoying our grandkids and volunteering for 3 different 501c3 non-profit charitable corporations, of which I'm Treasurer of 2.
We've got a great committee working splendidly together to reunite us Spartans at our 50th reunion on April 18, 2020.
