Today's Featured Biography
Elaine Hawkins Fontenot Lister
Greetings... After my favorite year of high school my senior year, I attended Azusa Pacific University where I was a cheerleader and worked in the Admission Officer. Being a Christian University, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ for myself, not just the religiosity that framed my formative years. After graduating with a BA in Sociology, I went on to work as a Probation Officer in San Benardino County, and as a Parole Agent with the State of California. After marrying and moving away. I gave up my career to be a wife and stay at home mom to my amazing kids (stepson) J Ross, Alton Jr. and Alexa Milan. After many years, I came back to So Ca where my mom (86, God bless her) and my family are located. I have worked as an Inspector for the Medical Board of California, an Investigator with the Nevada Equal Rights Commission and currently as a Government Analyst with the state of California, Dept of Public Health. During my husband's years in the NBA we lived from coast to coast and briefly in Milan, Italy. My son Alton Jr. or aka AJ was born a Celtics baby when his dad played for the Boston Celtics. Tommy Heinson and Bob Cousy announced his birth on a telecast and solidified his life love for the Celts. We are fans for life! (Sorry Laker lovers :-) AJ is headed to a prep school on the East Coast this fall to prepare for Division 1 Basketball next year. He is 6'9 and still growing! He was in an Adidas commercial at the start of the last NBA season, and that was really fun.(see it here... )My daughter Alexa is a 6'4 Volleyball Middle Hitter and senior in high school this year. She is fielding her scholarship offers now. She is a sweet, beautiful girl who plans to parlay her Volleyball skills into a Law Degree. Second to my love for being a mom is my passion for writing and for helping people navigate and strategize their life! My soon to be published self help book, "A Butterfly's Journey Through A 7 Foot Life... a basketball wife's story with transformational "do it's" for wellness, success and amazing love", is dedicated to my sister, Ethel, who went home to Heaven after courageously battling breast cancer. My second book, a Novel "Bounce" will follow in 2015. "Running Back" will be published late 2015. Im so excited! I will be taking new clients in my Life Coaching programs after the 1st of the year and PHS Alum will receive special rates and deep discounts just because :-)...
I am very happy and blessed to have lived the life that I have and am grateful for every happy day and every trying moment. Each opportunity for growth has shaped the person I am today and am so thankful for God's grace and mercy on my life along the way. PHS was a part of my journey and I am grateful for the friends and experiences that helped shape me.
Life is a journey and it should be traveled well with lots of laughter and tons love along the way! :-)

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
