When Stanley Carlton Aitchison was born on January 22, 1898, in San Francisco, California, his father, William, was 24 and his mother, Anna, was 23. He married Marie Wetherbee on November 18, 1924, in Marin, California. They had two children during their marriage. He died on February 7, 1965, in California at the age of 67, and was buried in Colma, California.
