I'm currently living just about 3 miles down the road from my old La Mirada childhood home. Our home is just north of the Fullerton Airport, near the Los Coyote Country Club in the Lakeside Community. We've lived here since 1999 and we love it.
My wife, Kathy and I are raising our great-niece, Anna. Anna is now almost ten-years-old. We fought hard to obtain legal guardianship, which Social Services told us we would never get. It's great to prove them wrong! Anna is a good girl. We've been her parents since she was 17-months-old. I'm kinda broke down and busted to be raising a young child again, but it's been well worth it.
Anna attends Trinity Christian School (formerly Crystal Cathedral Academy) in Garden Grove. The school is of course religious based, but it also has a performing arts focus. Anna receives weekly training in music, drama, art and dance, and all children receive this training from pre-school through twelfth grade. Anna loves the school and does great. We could not more proud of her!
Our son, Brian, obtained a degree in economics from Cal. State Fullerton, my alma mater. He also is a wonderful person with a good heart.
I've been working for about the past ten plus years as a business analyst. I currently work from home, which might sound glamorous, but really, I spend too much time doing laundry, washing dishes and walking the dog.
My wife works under contract with the Department of Homeland Security, Citizenship and Immigration Services as a network administrator. Kathy has worked there several years, so it's been a good job.
