Today's Featured Biography
Karen Olsen Salisbury
After retiring, Dana and I moved to Grass Valley. It's half way between Reno and Sacramento. About an hour from Lake Tahoe.
Our oldest son, Dana moved with us. He's working and going to Sac. State.
Dusty, our youngest is in the Army. He's stationed at Ft. Bragg in N.C., and is in the 82nd airborne.
Dana and our Son are restoring a 68 Mustang Fastback and take another car to the drags.
I haven't done anything exciting in my retirement,yet. So many good books to read and places to see.
I didn't want to retire but after AA took over TWA, they took away all but 2 years of the flight attendants' seniority. I flew for 36 years. After 9/11 anybody with only 2 years were furloughed, laid off, on the street whatever!
I could be mad at AA and I am, but I also had two hip replacements...from hell! So I no longer could do the job. I had such a great time tho. My favorite place was Cairo. My favorite celebrities? Well that's easy! Lassie and Benji. I got to shake their paws and kiss their noses!
We're on the way to the Sierra ski area. If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop by!
