After graduation I went to Centenary College of Louisiana and got a BA degree in Business. One of the highlights of my college career was singing with the choir. The summer after my sophomore year I got to spend 9 weeks with the Centenary College Choir as paid performers at Radio City Music Hall.
I married my college sweetheart, Jerry Jouett, in 1963. Jerry works as a realtor for Coldwell Banker.
My working career included legal secretary, pre-school teacher, monogrammer, and for the last 19 years of work being administrative assistant to the senior pastor at my church.
We have 2 sons, Jeff and Jason. Jeff sold his Tyler business to a company in Cypress, Texas about 3 years ago and went to work for the company that bought him out. Jason took a leave of absence from ministry about 3 years ago, went to law school at the U of A in Fayetteville, passed the bar exam, and hung his shingle in Fayetteville.
We also have a Finnish "son" Tapio who lived with us as an exchange student for a school year. Jerry and I went to visit him and his family in Finland two summers ago and loved our time there.
I retired almost 3 years ago, and I have enjoyed doing what I want when I want. I am in a morning walking group. I took training to be a tutor for Literacy Council which provides one-on-one tutoring for adults. I have had 2 students, but I don't currently have one. I sing in my church choir and do some nursing home visitation for the church. I enjoy playing bridge, reading, having lunch with friends, and visiting grandchildren whenever possible.
Our grandchildren include Jeff's 2 boys: Jack (almost 12) and Carter (9). Jason and Ann Catherine's children are: Walker (9), Corbett (7), and Caroline (5).

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
