Katherine Hitchcock Burrill

Just checking out this website helped me to realize how much time has passed for us all. I can NOT believe so many years have gone by. I'm not sure exactly when the transition from YOUNG to MATURE occured, but it seems we are all supposed to be adults now.

I am living in Seattle now with my family. After High School, I bounced around alot. Like many Alaska kids, I had the urge to escape the confines of the north country and had several restless years living in fairbanks, New York City, Anchorage and Seattle. I settled in Anchorage for a decade or so and involved myself in school, theatre and music. Having my daughter Mauri in 1990 slowed my traveling quite a bit and I relied on my family to help support me as I pursued my "career" in the performing arts. My band " The Distronauts" kept me busy and introduced me to my husband.

Kohen Burrill, a musician and fellow Palmer veteran and I moved to Seattle with my 5 year old daughter Mauri in 1996 and set up house. I have been here ever since "playing house" and living a simple satisfying life. I tell myself that as soon as my son Keye (1999) is old enough to fend for himself, I will plunge into the world of theatre again.

I would love to hear from anyone who reads this. I'm a bit embarrassed that I am more verbose than most of you but if you know my mother, you'll know that it's hereditary.
