Continued
More has happened in the last 10 years than seemingly the last 30. Since the 10 year reunion, Chris and I married in 1998, we completed 3 masters degrees between the 2 of us, started teaching middle school and had 2 kids-all of which has kept us bit busy.
Chris also became a middle school teacher after being a wildlife biologist, so we are fortunate to have the summers off for adventures, some more successful than others; they usually include coaching my son's soccer team, fishing/camping, running and an occasional race, biking, dabbling in triathlons, softball in the summer with my brother and mom, then hockey in the winter with brother and dad. Then of course, I'm always taking a class because I'm a teacher and that's what we do; I'm just starting another Master of Ed, this one in administration-oh my, I never would have thought I would eventually become a principal, considering some of the shenanigans I have been involved in before becoming a "grown up".
Other than that I stay busy, even with a summer off-potty training a toddler this summer and teaching my son to ride his bike without running into another mailbox. I am always an Alaskan, otherwise I tend to follow local mountain ranges thinking that I'm heading east, therefore end up lost in other locales.
