Today's Featured Biography
Jake Willis
Departed from Anchorage in 1974. Moved to San Antonio, TX. Finished H.S. in SA. Went to college in TX. Data Processing major. Managed Datacenter Operations for 10 years. Company name was Datapoint/Intelogic Trace. Relocated to Sacramento, CA 1987. Worked for company named USAA for 17 years as Systems Programmer. Obtained CA real estate license in 2004. Currently employed with State of California as a Sr. Information Systems Analyst with the Employment Development Department.
Married H.S. sweetheart(Valerie) 1982. 2 children Jake(23)and Juston (21). Jake WestPoint grad (2005) Juston, grad (2008) at Cal State University Monterey Bay.
I performed theater productions in Sacramento, four in all from 1994-1999. My claim to fame is I was on stage with Jessica Chastain (look her up on IMDB.com)in play called "Scandal, Lies, and Then Some" (1994.
Visited Anchorage 1980 and 1996. Stayed with close friend from back in the day...Shawn Pierre (Bartlett 1976). He lives in Chugiak. We still talk frequently.
I still remember everyone from our Central Jr. High days. Bill Tulin and I exchange X-Mas cards. Donna Wilson reconnected me with a lot of people. Had lunch with Lisa Short in San Diego a few years ago. Saw some old Centralites in 1980 & 1996 in Anchorage i.e... Walter Weaver, Sandy Wilkerson, Paul Williamson, Kathy Leary, Scott Gibson, Larry Timpson, Phillip Pierre, Donna Wilson.
