Blayde Crockett

Currently, I am a Utah-based writer, former stockbroker, accountant, tax professional, and lifelong student of history, government, and human nature.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I lived in Rogers Park.Shoveled snow for a living growing up! I went to Lake Otis Elementary School and finished the last half of 6th grade in Rogers Park Elementary School

After I finished 6th grade, we moved to the Muldoon area. I lived across the street from that big Red Baptist church, in that neighborhood on East 3rd. I went to Ora Dee Clark Junior High School, located in Mountain View. During that time, I was part of a rock and roll band called "Strapp" with some cool friends. Rick, Mark and Ralph. Ralph was our drummer and the rest of us played guitars. We played at a few dances and got chewed out by the parents because of our music at a church dance. I Played the Trumpet in the school band.

I attended the 7th grade and skipped the 8th grade, and went right into the 9th Grade. NOt because I was billiant. I was almost at that time 2 years older then my current grade level. I felt I would do better and they accepted my reasoning. What a victory!

After Junior High, I went to East Anchorage High School until I graduated in 1970. During High School I played my guitar solo and right up until College. I was in the High School Band we marched in the Fur Rendezvous parade down 4th Avenue. Froze to death. Also, I sang Tenor in the High School Choir. I wasn't all that talented, but they needed bodies, I think.

As an Accountant and Tax Accountant with decades of experience in business, finance, taxation, and legal research, I have developed an analytical mind and a healthy skepticism toward conventional wisdom. I believe in examining the facts, challenging assumptions, and following evidence wherever it leads.

A passionate defender of individual liberty, constitutional principles, and freedom of conscience, I have a particular interest in the American founding, the rise and fall of civilizations, and the relationship between government power and personal freedom.

My writing background includes formal training through the Institute for Writers, and I am currently expanding my skills in copywriting, artificial intelligence, and independent publishing.

I'm in the process of developing three books; one is titled "The Rising Tide of Tyranny," exploring how free societies gradually surrender the liberties they once fought to secure. The other book is about exposing scams and deception. And the 3rd is a collection of quotations—I've been collecting perspectives on life since 1971, for the past five decades. To preserve not merely the words themselves, but the wisdom, wit, and enduring truths that make them worth remembering. In my opinion.
