Today's Featured Biography
Jeremy McClain
Currently married and living in the outer burbs of D.C., specifically in Maryland. My wife and I welcomed our first baby into this crazy world this past March. Ella Catherine McClain.
My family left Misawa at the end of my Junior year, so I didn't get to graduate with all of my friends. Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled at having to spend my last year of high school at a brand new school in Texas, but, I suppose we do what we're told in the military don't we?
Went to college in Fort Worth, met and married my wife there also, and went to law school in D.C.
I'm currently working for a non-profit trade association for community-based health clinics. These clinics are located in medically underserved areas in all fifty states and primarily serve the poor and elderly. "Service to all, regardless of their ability to pay," is a requirement for them. I'm not going to get rich working here, but the work is rewarding in and of itself and there are good people here.
I'd like to say hi to some old friends (sorry if I forget anyone):
Talen Young, Dave Clark, Brett Wilhelm, George Harland, Steve Roberts, Sam Gorter, Mark Tech, Tosh and Ken Arciaga, and others who I played soccer with. Beth Armstrong, Jenny Young, Heather McFarland, the Foucher sisters, Jamsie Cui, Renah Seay, Lisa Miller, and others with whom I share a lot of great memories. Misawa was/is a very special place and was made even more special by all the great friends and teachers we had. So thank you to those of you (Crystal, and others) who take their time to keep sites like this going and helping us stay in touch and keep our memories alive.
