Today's Featured Biography
Nola Jackson
Howdy! My family and I are residing in beautiful south Anchorage. Tim and I have 2 great kids – son Taylor, a sophomore/wrestler/soccer goalie and daughter Cailey, a freshman/cheerleader for Grace Christian.
I worked with Safeway Corporation as a field trainer for 14 years and along with 688 other people, was the victim of corporate downsizing. I went back to Safeway as a product auditor and nine months later I (and 200 others) became unemployed. Hmmmm….maybe I should collect checks from Safeway employees who don’t want their jobs eliminated.
After trying new fields for awhile, I now work for Alcan Electric, telephone division, as a project manager coordinating telephone system installations and moves with the client, utility and technicians.
I am looking forward to this reunion and renewing old acquaintances. I had an incident a few years ago that caused large memory loss – and I seem to remember little of high school. I’ll be the one with the yearbook trying to place names and faces.
