Forty four yeas ago I married my husband Allan. I quit my job at Allen Bradley, and gave birth to our first child, Kim, and became a stay-at-home mom.
Two more children, Scott, and Aaron, and lots of volunteering later, I went back to school to become a preschool teacher. It was much easier than my time at UWM.
I already knew the subjects! For the last 14 years of my career, until my retirement in 2014, I was an activity coordinator and aide in a dementia unit.
Now I spend my time taking care of our three grandchildren, volunteering for Southwest Interfaith and helping children read at my church’s school.
Besides watching the grand-kids at their sessions, I still have time to go to the gym for cardio and weights. As a baseball family we’re at Miller Park when the Brewers are in town.
