I devoted 26 years to a career in the US Air Force retiring in 1993. I was fortunate to travel extensively living in southeast Asia and Europe.
I attended Louisiana Tech University graduating summa cum laude in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.
I worked in the pulp and paper and aluminum extrusion and fabrication industries retiring from ALCOA.
In 1972 I married Mei (Sue) Liu in Taichung Taiwan. We have two children, and three grandchildren.
Our daughter, Eileen, is a pediatrician working in Tyler Texas. She graduated from LSUS Medical School in 1999 and completed her residency there as well. She had a practice in Marshall Texas from 2002 to 2015.
Our son, Curtis, completed undergraduate work with a degree in Physics at LSUS. He then earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech. He met and married a little lady from Sweden while at Tech and managed to get a Post Doctoral slot at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He now resides in Spanish Fort Alabama with our three grandchildren, two boys and the youngest a girl. We get together far more often, except for Covid, now that they live in the USA.
My time is now spent playing golf in the Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina area with a 10-12 handicap. Recently proudly shot my age. The largest group of seniors I belong to has more than 200 members playing at least 5 times monthly. At times we bring 100 or more seniors to an outing making golf courses very happy.
