Today's Featured Biography

Mark Scheuer

Spent most of my high school years immersed in electronics, not putting time into my school studies. Not until I realized that my grades werenï¿½t college material.

Buckling down in my Senior year, I received the Rummell Award for the Most Improved Student of the Year. I also joined the Shipï¿½s swim and Lettered. First time on a team and learned the values of being part of something larger than myself.

Graduated from UW-Madison In Electrical Engineering and worked for Hewlett-Packard for 11 years. During that time (1985), I started a company (PS Engineering) to design and manufacture Avionics. Left HP to take on PS Engineering full time in 1994.

PS Engineering leads the field of aircraft audio control. Our equipment was on board the first civilian spacecraft and is installed in commercial, special mission, military, and general aviation aircraft.

Married on New Years' Day 1983 to my soulmate and the mother of our two beautiful girls. Became a first-time Grandpa in September 2019 and became a Grandpa a second time in 2021.

My work continues to be rewarding and my plan is to continue to run PS Engineering for many years to come.
