Shortly after graduation I was drafted into the Army. After basic training at Fort Lewis, and advanced training at Fort Polk, Louisana I spent 361 days in Vietnam with the 1st Air Cavalry. I was medivac'd twice but still managed to survive the all expense paid tropical vacation. In 1975 I married Sandy Stewart, an LHS 1970 grad. We have 3 children and 15 grandchildren. Sandy died on December 27th, 2015 after nearly 11 years battling cancer. Sandy and I were married 41 years. I remarried in 2023 to Joanna Allred. My career consisted primarily of the automotive business but I also flew helicopters and airplanes commercially during this same period. While I am retired from the automotive and flying businesses I still fly my personal airplane frequently. I am also a long-time street rodder and motorcycle rider. It's hard to believe that it's been 60 years since we graduated. I am looking forward to reacquainting with you all at the Reunion activities.
