Lois Hitt McGuire

Born in Phoenix AZ. Moved to WA state when I was four. Lived near Hamilton and went to Hamilton Elementary School through 6th grade when Cascade Jr High was opened. I believe our class was the first class to complete all three years (7-9) at the new CJHS. Prepping to go to SWHS as a sophomore in 1961, my father got a job in Montana on the missile installation. We came to MT that summer and finally settled in Hobson, MT where I graduated in 1964. I graduated in a class of 11, so you can see that the town of Hobson was pretty small. I graduated in May and got married the following August (we celebrate our 50th this year!). Our married life has taken us to ND, back to MT, back to ND, back to MT, to WA, to NV and finally to WY where we retired and moved back to MT. We are now in Stanford MT which is in central MT. Our sons are not married. Our youngest lives with a gal we really like, and our eldest is in a relationship with a gal that seems to fit our family quite well!! So, consequently, no grandchildren, just a grand dog! I spent most of my working life in sales. My most successful job was working for Cable AdNet selling tv advertising in the Fallon, NV market. I've also worked for the BBB and managed a country club, which was my most unsuccessful job!! My husband Lynn, worked for Peavey Elevator for many years and then worked as manager for Big R in NV and ACE Hardware in WY. As for retirement, it's not all it's cracked up to be! Stanford being my husbands hometown is quite small and doesn't have a lot to do! We have a cabin in the Little Belts which we enjoy. Our health is good, except for the usual aches and pains of getting older...I'm sure you all can relate to that! I still have family in Woolley, a sister and sister in law but we don't get there very often.
