Glen Duvall

Aloha! I can't believe it's been 20 years since we graduated from High School. Do you realize we're, like, double our ages at graduation (plus a year in my case). My brother has a son and he's entering high school next year. I got a haircut today and I saw more gray hair than brown hair fall in my lap. I can't believe I wore a pink sweater for my senior picture. I should've known that pic would follow me around for the rest of my life. I think my face got bigger over the last 20 years...or, maybe it's just that my hair is shorter. Either way, I look different. I live in Hawaii now, so my skin is a bit more leathery than it was when I was a pup. Actually, I've been taking great care of my skin. I use a combination of Clearasil Daily Face Wash and Pure Zone Pore Tightening Astringent. You have to be careful especially with the increased risk of skin cancer these days. Who doesn't enjoy that fresh face feeling anyway. I like to stay fit because I never want to look down and not see my...toes. Thankfully, I can see everything. My eyes are getting worse, but I heard that if you wear glasses, your eyes will depend on them and the muscles get weaker. I almost failed my last drivers license eye exam. The DMV told me I should get glasses. So, I got glasses but I only use them to read and drive when cops are around. I used to work for Starbucks, but I quit. Now my friends call me "semi-pro" which is just a nice way of saying that I have a lot of time to train for triathlons. I competed in my first ironman as a "semi-pro" this May in Brazil. I retired in June. My next race will be for fun, not money. I think I'm the most underpaid MBA in the country. I am "self" employed currently. "Self" employed in Hawaii is way better than chicken dumplings. Chicken dumplings are nasty! Actually, I finished a business plan today (true story) as a matter of fact. I hope to get something going soon so I can afford the plane ticket back to Othello next year to see all of you. You may remember my spouse at our 10 year reunion. Well, I traded her in...she was in breech of our contract. I'm now with the sweetest most beautiful woman in the world. Her ego erupted after she won that contest. There's barely any room for the LCD TV in the living room. We had to expand the doorways so she could get her head around the house. Luckily, I can kick her butt in a 5k run (literally, because she usually finishes in front of me). Well, for those of you I haven't kept in contact with, which is the majority, I look forward to seeing you all and catching up again. For those that I do keep in touch with more regularly, save me a seat at the bar.
