Today's Featured Biography
Randal (Randy) Cox
Well my first few years after graduating, I have to say were the most challenging. In March 1984, I went on a service mission for the LDS Church in Auckland New Zealand, which braught new memories, experiences and challenges during that short 18 months. Afterwords, I've worked several menial jobs, including a 14 year stretch at 7-ELEVEN stores in Bellevue, Redmond, Seattle and Issaquah. I was married for a short time (#1) which ended quickly in divorce.
In 1996 I operated a "dot-com" computer parts store out of the home which proved successful for a while. 1999, I moved to Phoenix Arizona ona promise of a good job which fell through, but I was able to save enough money for a 12 month working holiday back to Auckland New Zealand (2001)where I was able to travel locally and reacquaint with people I've met, and to escape most of the September 11 aftermath.
My wife and I met on the internet back in 2001, and chatted as friends for several years. After a second failed miserable marriage which ended in divorce in 2002, Fiona and I decided to finally meet, and bring this long distance friendship closer - by going to AUSTRALIA to meet her! We fell in love, and married in June 2003.
We now operate a thriving janitorial business in Hervey Bay Australia and I am investing in American real estate properties
We've made Australia our home, but hope to return to the US to visit family and friends in the near future.
