Today's Featured Biography
Dawn Hagemeier Van Horn
It has been good to read everyone's bios so I thought I would put one in myself . . . I graduated UW in 1990 with a BA in psychology. You can't do alot with that, but I managed to get a job as a mental health therapist. I worked in that field for 10 years during which time I got married, had a child, got divorced (what a relief), and then went back to school. I decided to pursue my life long interest in the medical field and in 2003 I became a Registered Nurse. At that point I married my long time fiancee and best friend Steve . . .(thank goodness for 2nd chances!!!), and began working in my current job as a RN in the Emergency Department @ St Joseph's in Tacoma. We stay busy with our son Stefan who is 11 and a 5th grader in Puyallup. He is a natural athelete and has brought us many smiles, laughs and tears of joy watching him grow into a great kid. He plays football, basketball, and baseball and we have enjoyed watching his skills develop and meet some great friends. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the reunion as we will be at a baseball tournament for him that weekend. We travel alot during the summer months. I would love to get an email from anyone and hear more about your lives... I am sorry that I will miss all of you. Have a great reunion.
