I'd love to come to this reunion, but unfortunately I will not be able to
make it this time. I've burned up all my annual leave. It's great that you guys are making the effort to put
this together. If you can post some photos on a web site after the big
night that would be wonderful.

I took my kids to Seattle last August for 3 weeks. We had a good time going
to Disneyland and then to the great northwest. My parents live near Enatai
school. I was able to get away for a weekend backpacking and fishing with Doug
Huntington and Lance Magnuson in the north Cascades. The hills are getting steeper than ever.

I've been living in Melbourne since 1984, and have been quite happy here.
Both my parents were born down under and I have many relative here. I met my lovely wife Meredith 12 years ago
and we now have 2 kids, Mary 9, and Bert 7. I have a share in a 31'
sailboat "Godzilla", which we keenly race on weekends. We recently competed
in the Melbourne to Launceston race, 200 miles across Bass Straight.
(that's the body of water between Tasmania and Australia) We didn't win any
trophies, but did polish off a few Tassie ales.

I've renovated 2 houses down here, but the kids are determined to wreck this
place, so I'm taking a rest. I live in Williamstown, about 7 miles from the
Melbourne business centre. Williamstown was the original port of Melbourne
before the river was dredged. There wasn't enough drinking water here, so the city
was moved to present day Melbourne. Williamstown has become quite trendy in
the last few years with many of the historic waterfront buildings converted
into cappucino restaurants.

I turned 49 recently. My hair that's not falling out is getting greyer. I
prefer to wear a hat when I go outside. My arms are too short for reading
now. The battle of the bulge gets harder every year. It's not fair! The
share and property markets seem much more interesting than they did a decade
ago. When can I afford to retire!?
