Today's Featured Biography
Julie Sanches
Since high school I've been trying to balance a career in Telecom and a full social life of friends, family and world travel. It's been a blast, despite the demise of the telecom industry. I jumped around from MCI to Bell Atlantic to Teleglobe to consulting for MCI/Worldcom and then to Cisco. In 2001 I switched over to e.commerce and worked for an Areospace and Defense e.commerce company as a Program Manager for their eProcurement services. During those years, I took at least one, sometimes two international vacations to learn more about the rest of the world and to see what kind of trouble I could get into while on the road. It was a blast!
In May of 2003, I quit my job, sold my house in Herndon, and set off on the biggest adventure of my life....I'm backpacking around the world for a year. My plan is to go to countries I've never been to, with the exception of Australia...I backpacked there for 6 months in 88 and decided to add it to this year's agenda since I loved it so much. I'm sorry I'll miss the reunion, I hope you all go and have a great time. Drink a toast to me, I should be in Bali relaxing on the beach or scuba diving. :-)
