Today's Featured Biography
Eva Race Nunnally
After graduation I took a job in a child development center in Hopewell. I worked there for approximately 7 months. In September 1975 I met my husband, Charles, at my fathers church. It only took a short time before we knew that God had brought us together. We were married on March 19, 1976 at Centralia Presbyterian Church where my father officiated. Charles and I started out in a mobile home in Chesterfield County. In August, 1977 we had our first child, Micah. We built our house ourselves and moved into it in 1980. We still live in the same house. Too many family members who are no longer with us helped to build our house. There are too many memories to ever sell or leave it. Our 2nd child, Leah, was born in 1982. I chose to work, mostly part-time through Kelly Servies, during our children's childhood. I've worked for: Hendersons Child Developemnt Center, Utica Mutual Insurance Company, Public Finance, Frank B. McAllister, Contractor, MCV, GMAC, Nunnally & Robertson Bookkeeping (no relation). I was a Realtor in Real Estate with Bowers Nelms & Fonville and then Long & Foster for 10 years and have retired after 15 years as a real estate appraiser with Chesterfield Counties Department of Real Estate Assessments. We have 6 beautiful grandchildren. Gabrielle, Luke, Amorette, Landon, Annabel and Henry. Three of each, who light up Grandma's life. I have and continue to live a very happy and fulfilling life. I couldn't ask for anything more nor would anything else make me any happier than I am. God has been so good to me.
