1971-1975- In and out of MSU(A FEW TIMES!), worked several odd jobs while attending.
1975-Worked @ Western & Southern Insurance Co.; married 1st wife.
1979- May 18th. Beautiful daughter born, Heather Lynn. Dropped out of Midwestern for good. Took EMT course(Emergency Medical Technician); went to work for Gold Cross Ambulance. April 10, 1979, NO NEED TO EXPLAIN THIS ONE!!!!
1980- As some have said went "middle age crazy"(at an early age I might add!!), met 2nd wife.
May 1981- Gold Cross loses city and county contract for ambulance sevice; go to work for Wichita County Sheriff Dept. in detention center. Not really for me, resign in December to go back to Metro Photo where I had worked before.
1986- A dream fulfilled, spent 3 weeks in Tahiti!!(DIDN'T WANT TO COME HOME!!!) Forgot to mention earlier, had been doing professional photography, so Tahiti was a dream in MANY ways!
Served on Texas Professional Photographers Association Board of Directors for a couple of terms.
1990- Trip to Bob Marley's Homeland(Jamaica), another GREAT photo op!!
1991- Another dream realized; a photo safari to Africa. Spent Thanksgiving in Tanzania, had Thanksgiving Dinner at the bottom of Ngorogoro Crater!(and I guess 2nd wife was having her own "fun"; she ran off with a mental patient from the State Hospital where she was employed!! I guess sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction!)
1994- Married 3rd wife, and in an effort to help her distance herself from her Ex I bought a 1 hour Photo lab in Stuart, FL. We left New Years Day 1995 in a U-haul and headed on our way to the Sunshine State.
1996-In March, after TOO many equipment repairs shut Fast Foto down; and on April Fool's Day I became an Orkin Man!
Then in April 3rd wife tells me "she's still in love with her ex-husband", ands "wants out".(DAMN, I SHOULD REALLY WRITE A BOOK!!!)
1998- Meet present wife(told her divorce not an option, but murder might be!! JUST KIDDING!
2001- My BEST buddy(my Dad) dies; wasn't ready, but then I guess we never are!
2006- In May I decide to transfer with Orkin from the Ft. Pierce,FL to South Daytona. We live south about 35 miles. SO much quieter than south FL.!! One of my larger accounts was Daytona International Speedway, really hating going there every week...NOT!!
2008- Leave Orkin for a smaller local pest conrol company.
2009- Economy hits the "dumper", and I see the handwriting on the wall, and start searching for more secure field. In Florida the medical field is VERY secure, so I take a Certified Nurse Assistant course and get my state license(who knows may go back to school, LPN or RN! never too old down here!)
2010- Hired at Oceanview Nursing and Rehab; started on the Nursing side, then transferred to Rehab, which is where I still am.
2011- Great year so far; buying a Harley in the near future. Lots of "backroads" that need exploring! Harley bought; average 1000 miles a month on "The HOG"! Looking forward to Biketoberfest in October; then Bike Week in March. Wanted to go to Sturgis, SD, but had to work, and it's a LONG ride from FL!!
2012- 2011 not so bad; Biketoberfest mentioned earlier LOTSA FUN!! The highlight so far this year, the birth of my first grandchild; a girl, Mikayla Noel!! Of course the most beautiful!! Just finishing Bike Week weather couldn't be better!! Nothing like 500,000 bikes in one place!?!!
Well, everything was going OK until May! Then a minor "skirmish" with a patients daughter occurred. She was visiting her mother and I had just returned from my dinner break, as I went in to check on my patient I was confronted by a highly intoxicated daughter who proceeded to "jump my stuff" about her mother. There was NOTHING wrong, her mother had decided to go to bed with her "day" clothes on(which is her right!!),but daughter did not like that and IT was my fault. Well, the daughter said she worked for Dept. of Children and Families(one of our "overseers)and made a complaint. The facility in my opinion feared what trouble she could cause, so I was hung out to dry!!(See I told you earlier I SHOULD write a book!!!!) Well all this time off just gives more time on Th' Hog, but that doesn't pay the bills. So the job hunt continues! To be continued.
2013-March,Landed a position with VITAS INNOVATIVE HOSPICE CARE, now VITAS HEALTHCARE as a CNA. I am still there, and will be until I decide to hang it up! I have pursued advanced education within my field and now I am a CERTIFIED HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE NURSE ASSISTANT ( CHPNA )! I also serve on our Ethics Committee and I also serve on the NCHPP CNA STEERING COMMITTEE (National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals ) of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. I also have been invited to apply for the Ethics Advisory Council of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization as well. I hold membership in the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association. Well, that briefly brings me up to date!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
