Still residing in the Spokane, Washington. I've retired twice now. Once from the Air Force; (I also had short 4 year stint as a Mental Health Counselor/Therapist in between. I then worked for 16 years for the Washington State Civil Service before finally retiring for good in 2005. I actually missed work initially, as I loved my work, but have now become used to retirement. Marie and I continue to roam the world. Over the years have covered pretty much most of it and continue discovering new venues. You could say world travel & cruising is our hobby along with taking pictures of every country that we continue to visit. Life is good, and continues to get better at this twilight time of our lives. I suppose we don't want to let go of the good life. Our only problems are the old age related aches, pains and in my case, I have Meniere's Disease (vertigo), and profound deafness which makes communication difficult. But, life goes on, and we feel fortunate that life has been so good to us.
Since I first wrote the initial bio, have now moved into a retirement community. Riverview Retirement Community by the Spokane River. Marie's health is such that we had to move into a single level home. Marie's back problems and neuropathy make it very difficult for her to climb stairs. Will attempt to stay as active as possible as long as we can.
