After leaving Pampa in 1980, I have lived in Odessa, Amarillo, south of Houston and in the North Dallas / Rockwall areas of Texas until Clay and I found ourselves back in Pampa in the late summer of 1992. I was a travel agent and managed Travel Express (owned by my parents) for 10 years in the store front location until my father passed away in 2002. I was fortunate to get to travel to many exciting places. After taking a year off, I began working for Dr. Ellis, an OB/GYN new to Pampa. I set up and ran his office and did his medical billing until he moved to Colorado in April of 2008. I began a new job at Bourland & Leverich Supply Company in July of 2008 in Sales Support and love what I do AND… I get to work with one of my dearest friends, Becci.
Clay and I have been married almost 23 amazing years. He is my rock and my best friend, I cannot imagine living one day without him in it. He has just become (in Feb 09) the Executive Director of the Pampa Economic Development Corporation in Pampa and is looking forward to being apart of many positive changes for Pampa.
Jennifer is 27, married to Josh and has two children. She has worked for “our Shane” on and off since she was in high school (she graduated PHS Class of 2000). She has worked at Texas Rose, Hoagies Deli and is currently at Cooder’s Dixie Café. She can also be seen out in the community and the surrounding area catering for special events.
Brenden, our 16 year old! Just got his drivers’ license and a vehicle and is about to see the end of his sophomore year of high school were he and his Pampa Harvester JV football teammates were district champions. He then went into varsity soccer and played through the winter! After soccer season ended, he joined the golf team to round out the school year.
I look forward to seeing everyone make it back for this milestone reunion, #30! Wait till you see all the changes that have been made to the High School! The new artificial turf is about to be laid on the football field and if you drive north of the hospital, you will see the construction for Pampa’s new Junior High and a new hotel going up. WOW! There is a lot going on. Everyone take care and C U Soon.
