Today's Featured Biography
Jim West
A bio?
Born and raised in Houston and Brookshire Tex. and graduated in '76 (finally). My birthday being in November delayed entry into grade school and then developing an extreme dislike for my 3rd grade teacher set me back another year. Oh well.
Tried to join the Marines at 20 but the medic said I had FKS - floppy knee syndrome. That's the cleaned up name. oh well...
Worked for self and others in construction and as an EMT in Austin. I Volunteered fire and EMS in Austin, Tavernier, FL. and Raven Rock NJ, a lil' hamlet on the Delaware River. Did massage for a spell - Now doing Quantum Touch and Reconnective Healing as I find it's more transformative.
Studied electro-mechanical drafting and went to work for ASFI in Floriduh where I ended up designing a bunch of things including some kewl military stuff.
Did lots of traveling thru the years. Went to many parts of Europe, North Africa, South America and recently Thailand. Sold my place in Idaho recently and moved here to Helena, MT. April 29-09 and its snowing. hmmm
No Nobel Peace prizes, Purple Hearts or sheep skins. Nothing that would put me into the ranks of the rich-n-famous... and that's fine with me. Just an average guy with thoughts of personal health and how to be the largest benefit to those that have a real need... kind of a Buddhist thing.
Now that’s a nutshell!
