I have been living in Houston Texas for the last 26 years and have been married to a wonderful lady from the valley whom I love very much Yolanda Sanchez, she has giving me a wonderful life for the past 31 years and 4 wonderful children; Ismael Saenz the 3rd Janette Y Saenz, Cristal Saenz and my little one Heriberto Saenz. I had the privilege to do some traveling to different parts of the world; Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Russia, Amsterdam, Korea and offshore in the Campeche gulf of Mexico. I did not have the opportunity go to college. after graduation I was kind of confuse on what to do with my life, so I started working in the fields went to Michigan then California picking grapes and doing the farm labor work. In 1985 I came back to Texas to get my high school sweetheart and took her back to California. Then I decided to get into industrial petro chemical and refinery construction in Long Beach California and became a Journeyman Electrician/ Electrical General Foreman for almost 16 years. somehow I felt that I needed a challenge and decided to be a fire and gas control system Technician, working with programmable fire/gas control panels, after a few years I needed a bigger challenges and decided to try Gas Chromatograph& Analyzers sample conditioning systems in the Petro Chemical and Gas Industries, which lead me to traveling all over the world. I now work for a Engineering Company in Houston Texas as a Analyzer Specialist., after all the struggle I went through in my Life I know GOD had a plan for me God is good and has always took care of me. God has blessed me with 2 grand babies and I’m proud to say that I’m Grandfather. Life as thought me that no matter your situation there is all kinds of opportunities out there for whoever wants it even without a college degree, although it would have been good to have the education, but not everybody gets the opportunity to have it. I think I did pretty well for not having a Father to guide me through life or a Mother to be with me as I was growing up, I love my Mother very much, but I was away from her since the age of 9 years old, I hope I get the opportunity to see some of my fellow classmates. we visit Edcouch Elsa about 3 to 4 times a year my Mother lives in Edinburg and I still have my Tio Pancho whom was the milk man for many years in Elsa and still lives in Elsa and I know some of you remember him in the 70s and 80s.
