Today's Featured Biography
Justin Foley
Hey, all! I can't believe we're almost to ten years. It really doesn't feel that long. Well, where to begin...ok, I went to SMU with the intent of getting a double major in Vocal Performance and Music Education but wound up with much more. I met my wonderful and gorgeous wife, Kat, the first day in the dorms (she was four doors down from me...aahh, the joys of co-ed living). We got married the second semester of our Sophomore year, but told no one of our marriage. We wanted to plan a wedding and reception later...which we did almost a year after seeing the Justice of the Peace. We have now been married eight years! I quickly decided that the life of an artist is an unsure one, and one of constant travel. So, I went strictly with a Music Education degree. I graduated in '98 and have been an Elementary Music teacher ever since, as well as a choir director. My wife is also an Elementary school teacher. We have one wonderful and beautiful daughter, Abigail Genevieve Foley, who was born April 30th, 2003. We live in the Dallas metroplex area--specifically Mesquite (15 miles east of Downtown Dallas), but we are in the process of building a new "dream house" in Rowlett, another 10 or so miles northeast from us. I love sports as much as ever and my brother Jonathan (Class of '96) and I have Dallas Mavericks season tickets and are huge fans. My folks still live in Austin and I get back there evry once in a while, though not as often as I'd like. My Mom even works at Westwood, so I stay appraised of all the changes and information there. The school sure has changed a lot since we left (almost immediately so). But, I believe that it was never better than when we were all there. I can't wait to catch up with everybody at the reunion. Please send me an email if you want to catch up a little sooner that June 12th. Take [email protected]

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
