After I graduated from Stratford, a year early, I attended Nashville State. My first job was with W E Stephens Manufacturing Co. in data processing. I married M C Lynn December 12, 1970 and after several other data processing jobs our 1st child, Greg, was born in 1973. My husband started his grading and excavating company a couple of years later and I worked with him in the office. Our second child, Callie, was born in 1992. Yes, she was planned....she was born on Sunday and he graduated on Friday...one out of the house and another one in!!!!! My husband sold the company a few years ago and we have retired...thank goodness!!!! Many years ago we starting purchasing farm land and now own about 1000 acres that we ran about 350 head of mama cows with calves on, but finally sold the cows and now lease out the crop land to a commerical farming company. We divide our time between our home in Goodlettsville, our farm north of Springfield in Cedar Hill and our home in Cape Coral, FL. We have 3 grandchildren, 1 girl and 2 boys with another boy on the way. I have been blessed.....Life is so good!!!! M C and I enjoy camping, riding Harleys, 4 wheeling and boating. We have taken our boat from our house in SW FL cruised down the Caloosahatchee, crossed Lake Okeechobee to Ft Lauderdale and made the crossing to the Bahamas a couple of times...that was a wonderful experience....so much fun!!!!
